Andrew Goodwin

Andrew Goodwin has graced the stages of the world’s most prestigious opera houses — La Scala Milan, the Bolshoi Theatre, Teatro Real Madrid, and Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona. Born in Sydney and trained at the St Petersburg State Conservatory, his career has taken him all across the world, earning acclaim for the refinement, intelligence and expressive depth of his artistry. Alongside his international career as a tenor, Andrew has also established himself as a composer, bringing another dimension to an already remarkable musical life.

Through selected concerts presented by Singing with Maria, audiences have the rare opportunity to experience Andrew’s artistry at closer range — in intimate settings where the nuance of his voice, musicianship and interpretation can be felt with an immediacy that is very different from the grand opera house. These are special, carefully curated performances offering a more personal encounter with an artist of exceptional calibre.
